Research projects and experimentsThe research focus of the Meteorology and Air Quality group is on the understanding of processes in the Atmospheric Boundary Layer, with particular emphasis on the interaction of the atmosphere with the (vegetated) land surface. This includes the measuring and modelling of the relevant atmospheric and related land-surface processes on the local and regional scale. Our PhD students work on a variety of topics, ranging from microscale to mesoscale. The group cooperates within the Wageningen Institute on Environmental and Climate Studies and the Research School on Production Ecology and Resource Conservation. In addition, our group cooperates also with Utrecht University in the 'Buys Ballot School' directed on research and education on fundamental processes in the climate system. Publications
