Research Interests

Atmospheric Boundary Layer and Atmospheric Chemistry

  a)  The exchanges of momentum, heat, moisture, greenhouse gases (CO2) and chemically active
        species (O3, NOx, …) between the atmosphere and the Earth's surface.
  b)  The influence of turbulent mixing and radiation on the chemical transformations
  c)  The dispersion of air pollutants
  d)  The interaction of boundary layer and mesoscale phenomena
  e)  The impact of land degradation on meteorology
   f)  The evaluation and improvement of boundary layer schemes on mesoscale models (MM5)

Methodology

My research is based on a combination of theoretical analysis, numerical modeling (Large Eddy Simulation (LES) and the mesoscale model MM5) and data analysis of field observations
